How does a GSR session work?

A GSR session is working with your own internal states.

The technique helps to understand what is behind our reactions, feelings and thoughts, and to identify the root cause of these experiences. At the heart of GSR is the understanding that internal states shape our perception of the world and behavior. By working with them, we change our reactions and interactions with the world around us.

Each session is unique and is aimed at revealing and working through exactly those internal blocks and limitations that a person has and that can influence his life path.

What happens during the session:

01\ Choosing a theme

The topic of the session can be any feeling, desire, goal. Something that has been bothering me for a long time.

You choose the situation or condition you want to work with. This could be any topic that causes tension:

02\ Working with a symptom

To start working, you immerse yourself in your inner experiences, opening up to your state as much as possible, and using the technique of Module 1, set a Symptom.

Next, the work is built directly with the Symptom. It contains a number of scenarios (trends), which together form the general state of a person and his perception of the situation.

It becomes easier and calmer inside. You begin to adequately perceive the initial situation and act more constructively.

03\ Completion — return to a harmonious state

After the session, the initial feeling goes away. The person returns to an even, harmonious state. The situation no longer causes tension or discomfort.

This does not mean that the problem has “disappeared,” but that a new perception emerges within from which one can view and interact with the situation differently.

You have new support and resource. Internal balance is restored.

This is not the “right answer”, but a return to a balanced, harmonious, resourceful state.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE SESSION:

01\ A GSR session begins with a conversation with a specialist about your request. The specialist’s task in such a conversation is to determine what internal state or feeling is preventing you from achieving the desired result in your life.

02\ A specialist in a certain technology identifies the feeling as it is exactly what you have, without imposing your own ideas on it. This feeling is a “Symptom” with which work will occur in a GSR session.

03\ Next, the specialist conducts a session, identifies generic scenarios in the Symptom, and works through each of them, restoring the original resource of the generic system. There can be on average from 7 to 30 such scenarios. The specialist voices each of the scenarios to the client—these are his usual strategies and patterns of behavior, relationships with others, and his usual decision-making patterns. As a rule, this sounds very recognizable to clients.

04\ With the help of the GSR methodology, each of these scenarios is transformed and provides the opportunity for new constructive, adequate and healthy attitudes and behavior. As a result, the condition that bothered the person completely goes away.
