An online session works just as well as an in-person one — on one condition: nobody should interrupt you. Everything else takes five minutes to arrange.

Checklist before we meet

  • A room where nobody will disturb you for an hour. A door you can close.
  • Headphones — the voice sounds closer and it is easier to stay in the process.
  • Phone on silent, computer notifications off as well.
  • Water nearby, and tissues. Sometimes they are needed.
  • A charged laptop, or a phone on a stand so you don't hold it in your hand.

If the connection drops

Nothing to worry about: I call back myself and the process continues from the same point. Lost minutes don't count — I add them to the session time.

After the session, keep at least half an hour free. Not to “process” anything — just to avoid jumping straight into tasks.
